Camosun College Offering Three CPAEF Awards

The CPAEF Award in Accounting at Camosun College provides three awards to students excelling in auditing, performance management and taxation.   Please contact Keri Norrie, FCPA FCA CGA  at the Camosun School of Business or the Advancement Office for more information about these awards.  David Chiang CPA CA, vice-president of member services for CPABC said, “the CPAEF is pleased to continue its support of Camosun College students.”

In addition to these awards, there are several awards from two endowment funds (CPA Award in Accounting and the Victoria Chartered Accountants Legacy Award) as well as the John Hadfield Memorial Scholarship.

Recipients of the 2016 CPABC Awards in Accounting are:  Hyewon Choi, Erin Munro and Samantha Potts.  The recipient of the John Hadfield Memorial Scholarship was Marc Despins.  Said Potts, “I recently graduated from Camosun College with a Bachelors of Business Administration – accounting major, and I plan to enroll in the September 2016 semester of the CPA Professional Educational Program.”  She added, “I am truly grateful for the financial assistance attached to this award which I will use towards my CPA tuition fees.”
