Accounting Students Receive CPAEF Bursaries

The CPA Education Foundation of B.C. (CPAEF) has awarded bursaries to two post-secondary accounting students and one student in the CPA Professional Education Program totalling $4,000.

The post secondary students were awarded the inaugural David Sale FCPA FCGA Memorial Bursaries which were recently created to support accounting students attending a B.C. college or university who have financial need.

Bursaries applications can be found on the CPAEF website under the “Helping Students” tab.  Application deadline is May 15 and November 15 of each year.

David Chiang, CPA CA, CPABC’s vice-president member advice and programs said, “students who face financial need can apply for bursaries.”  He added, “the CPAEF is proud to support student success by helping them overcome financial obstacles.”
