SFU Students Receive CPAEF Awards


Simon Fraser University has announced the 2017/18 award recipients for the following CPAEF Awards:

CPAEF Award in Accounting ($2000) for the top student in BUS478 Strategic Management and BUS424 Managerial Accounting II – Amy So and Phyllis Ung

In addition, Avnit Sekhon was the recipient of the CPABC Surrey/Langley/N. Delta Chapter Award in Accounting ($1500).  This award is funded by the generosity of Chapter members and recognizes a full time student in the Beedie School of Business with a declared concentration in Accounting who is a resident in Surrey, Langley or Delta.

Natalie Brenton, SFU  Senior Associate Director, Leadership Giving said, “As part of a dedicated community of donors who encourage and inspire our students, [CPAEF] is making a tremendous difference in their lives.”
