The CPAEF gratefully acknowledges a major donation made by Olin Anton FCPA, FCA – continuing his long history of supporting accounting education in BC. Anton (middle) is pictured above with Richard Rees FCPA FCA (left) president and CEO of CPABC and Chris Burnley CPA CA (right) chair of the CPAEF board.
Anton currently serves on the CPABC board of directors. When CPABC was formed in June 2015, he was appointed the inaugural chair of the merged professional body for a one year term.
Previously, Anton was a member of the ICABC Council and served on the Council with distinction. He was also a governor of the CA Education Foundation of BC for several years and helped guide the foundation through the merger process.
Anton recently retired from a life time career at Deloitte LLP and its predecessor firms – Arthur Andersen – which merged with Deloitte in the early 2000s. He was partner in charge of audit and was managing partner of Deloitte’s Vancouver office.
Chris Burnley CPA, CA, CPAEF board chair thanked Anton for his generous gift and for his long service to the profession.
