Two Langara College students, Adrian Tong and Daniela Oshikawa, have each received the 2017 CPAEF Award worth $1,000. The CPAEF Award is offered to students attending certain post secondary institutions in BC who are in the final year of their diploma or degree program.
Adrian Tong is in the final year of his Bachelor of Business Administration degree (majoring in accounting). He has been a member of the peer student leadership program at Langara where he works with an instructor to provide in-class assistance to introductory accounting students.
Daniela Oshikawa is in the diploma program. In addition to being involved with the peer student leadership program, she has organized study groups to assist fellow students who needed assistance.
