FVCPAA Announces 2018 Award Winners

The Fraser Valley Chartered Professional Accountants Association (FVCPAA) has selected the following local student for scholarships: Patrick San Mateo (Kwantlen Polytechnic University), Andrew Morris (University of the Fraser Valley) and Kaleb Denham (Trinity Western University).

These students have displayed academic achievement, extra-curricular participation, and community service, and will each be awarded a $1,000 scholarship to support their respective accounting education.

The FVCPAA Awards are open to 4th year accounting students from KPU, UFV and TWU, are funded by the FVCPAA with matching funds from the CPA Education Foundation and are intended to encourage local students to continue their education in the accounting field and to pursue the CPA designation.

The FVCPAA and CPAEF are proud to support these students and local post-secondary institutions.  Since the inception of these awards in 2011, over $24,000 has been distributed to 24 students – many of whom have become CPAs.

Visit the FVCPAA website for more information about this scholarship or to apply for next year’s awards.
