CPAEF Supports CPABC’s COIN Competition

CPA Education Foundation is proud to support the 2018 CPABC COIN Competition with a grant of $1,000.

The CPABC COIN Competition is open to BC high school students and is an opportunity for students to compete provincially with others who share an interest in business and accounting.

The competition itself consists of a multiple choice exam focusing on introductory accounting concepts and will be held on Saturday May 12, 2018 in various locations across BC.  Registrations for the competition closed on April 13.   The top 10 highest scoring students will be invited to attend an Award Ceremony and Luncheon in Vancouver to be presented their cash prizes which can be used to support their educational pursuits.

Stephanie Snowden, CPABC’s Recruitment Officer responsible for high school initiatives, said “with the assistance of the CPAEF, we are better equipped to engage high school students with CPABC and promote accounting as an attractive career option.   The CPAEF’s support allows us to deliver quality exam content for our annual competition.”
