CPAEF Awards Bursaries to CPA Students/Candidates

November 2018

The CPA Education Foundation has awarded $11,500 in bursaries to five students in the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) and students taking preparatory courses.   In the 2018/19 fiscal year, the  CPAEF has awarded a total of $30,000 in student bursaries.

The CPAEF offers bursaries to students enrolled in the Advanced Certificate in Accounting and Finance (ACAF), those taking preparatory courses through the CPA Western School of Business (who have completed at least two courses in the previous 12 months), candidates in the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) and members pursuing their MBA (who have the intent to teach in academia).  These bursaries are based on financial need, academic performance and personal circumstances.

Applications for bursaries can be found on the CPAEF website under Helping Students.   There are two deadlines for bursary application submission: May 15 and November 15.
