CPA Vancouver Technology Forum Continues Generous Support of Students

Paul Wu CPA CGA, chair of the Vancouver Technology Forum, presents donation to David Chiang CPA CA, CPABC’s vice-president member advice & programs outside the Musqueam Indian Band Administration Office.

Members of the CPA Vancouver Technology Forum have added $2,500 to the Vancouver Technology Bursary Fund which provides financial support to CPA students in the professional education program (PEP) and students taking preparatory courses.  There are two $2,000 bursaries available each year for students in financial need with a preference to those students who need funding to support the purchase of computer equipment for their educational pursuits.  Students can apply for these bursaries by submitting an application form, available under the tab “Helping Students” before May 15 or November 15.

Paul Wu, CPA CGA, Chair of the Forum said, “As part of our continued support of students, the CPA Vancouver Technology Forum is delighted to add to the bursary fund.  We are committed to supporting students with their education.”    Brenda Waechter, FCPA FCA, chair of the CPAEF, thanked Paul and the other members of the forum for their continued generosity.

To make a donation you can either contact David Chiang CPA CA, CPABC’s vice-president member advice and programs, or visit CPABC’s Online Services to make a donation online.  Your support is appreciated.
